Fiber Forum

Fiber Forum members teaching each other origami

The Fiber Forum is a group of fiber artists who share a variety of fiber related interests such as quilting, stitching, dying, weaving, felting, embroidery, and more. The group believes that it is important to gather monthly and share the joy of their own fiber journeys, to inspire, encourage, and support others to join them.

The fiber forum meets on the second Wednesday of every month in the rotunda of the Carnegie Art Center 6-8pm.

At every Fiber Forum meeting, a member demonstrates a skill or talent. Future demos include: Free motion emroidery, alcohol inks, marbling, making silk paper, and many more. If you would like to share a skill please contact Phyllis Vasbinder: [email protected]

Membership to the CAC does double duty and activates membership to the Fiber Design Forum. Not only will you gain access to CAC membership bonuses, but by attending 3 FDF meetings, you will be able to exhibit in the FDF Members Exhibit at the CAC in October.
