The Carnegie Art Center (CAC) will host “Feelings, Fantasies & Fun”, a mixed media retrospective by Marti Cattoni on view June 5-28. This show will also feature sculptures by Mike O. There is a free opening reception June 15, 12PM-4PM featuring guitar jazz duo Lewis and Klark. Additional viewing is available during regular gallery hours, Wednesday-Thursday 6PM-8PM, and Friday-Saturday 12PM-4PM. Gallery hours are free and open to the public.

Marti Cattoni received her BS from Buffalo State College in Graphic Design and Illustration. Following a 20-year career in advertising, she continued her exploration in drawing, painting, sewing, and more. Cattoni has experimented with artistic mediums throughout her life. Her inspirations include outer space, surrealism, and nature. “Feelings, Fantasies & Fun” showcase a lifetime of exploration of these themes created throughout the artist’s life.

Mike O is an artisan who communicates through his sculpture. These forms are inspired by almost anything from life. Vivid colors highlight the interplay between light and shadow. Each piece is unique and formed through the process of cutting, shaping, bending, grinding, welding, and assembling metal.
